We Have POWER!!!!

Yes it just came on! I can't believe we made it for ten days. Chad blessed us with getting a generator before the storm. We rented it so we were going to return it on Sunday ha ha. We ended up keeping it for a week and then buying our own. It was so nice to have some electricity.

God was great and sent 60* weather at night. There was no damage to our house so that was amazing. I am so proud of Austin and Summer they did great it was hard at night but they loved all the attention they got from us. They got to play outside a ton and I finally got the wagon I had been wanting for a couple of months. In fact when I wanted it it was $150. We found the last one at Academy and the box was open. I knew there was going to be a wheel or something missing. When we went to buy it the final cost was $19.88 I was so happy. Chad even hooked it to the back of the Cruising Cooler. I will post more pictures later. We are off to get some rest in our bed (not the couch).

Labor Day

We spent our Labor Day at the lake house. It was a nice vacation and the weather was perfect. This was Summer's first time to get in the water. The kids had fun playing on the deck with the floats and Austin and Poppy made a sidewalk splash pad that Austin really enjoyed.

First Day of School and Luau

Austin and Summer are going to the same daycare this year and it is going great. They are in the same class which is funny because Summer is too young for this class and Austin is too old but they love it. (2 year old room) Everyone there adores Austin. They even had to go through special inspections so he could have a bottle and a crib in his classroom for napping.

He still goes to school in the mornings so the bus picks him and up and takes him back to daycare. The bus drivers say he is one of the best to drive! Summer loves daycare once I leave. She puts on a show when I drop her off kicking and screaming.

One Last Play Day

Ok so I am behind on my posts. Once school starts it gets pretty crazy around here.

The last week of summer we went to Jumping Jak's. The kids had fun playing in the ball pits and running around. I loved it and only cost $4!

It'z so much fun!

We went to It'z for a birthday party recently. The kids had fun riding all the rides and playing the games. They both loved the roller coaster so much we rode it twice! Of course Chad and I had just as much fun as they did!

Summer FUN

I have enjoyed being home this summer and can't believe we are down to our last three weeks. Here are pictures I have been meaning to post. We have been to the Children's Museum, Jumping Party and the zoo.

Swimming Lessons

Summer took swimming lessons at the YMCA for two weeks and loved it. She can jump off the side and swim under the water. And get she does not have to hold her nose like mommy. Summer has been so much fun to be around. She is such a little mommy to Austin she will take him his cup when she finds it and when he gets out of the bath she goes and gets his towel for me. Then she hand me all the things I need to get him dressed. I am afraid she takes after Chad and me because she is always cleaning. We are both neat freaks! If there is water on the floor she gets a towel and cleans it up. Before she gets out of bed she picks up her blankets and toys. It is funny.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July was a blast this year. The kids had so much fun playing at the neighbors and in our backyard. Summer stayed up late and watched the fireworks. She loved them. Funny story-There were two slides and if you will look at the second picture Chad threw Austin up that slide. He went up the slide and over landing in the grass on the other side. I was inside for this thank goodness because I probably would have had a heart attack. Of course Austin loved it and thought it was part of the fun!!
