Austin's Awesome Army

Wow I can't believe it took me so long to post! 

 

The walk was a huge success this year.  We raised over $2,000 and donations are still being made.  This year we had a great turn out.  It rained the first part of the walk which always makes things fun-well fun for the kids.  :)

 

 

My school is filled with amazing people and a friend there had new shirts made with the Angelman logo and website.  The staff was able to buy them and the proceeds from the shirts went towards Austin's medical bills. 

It was such a blessing to our family.  The staff was also able to wear the shirts on Mondays. 
I loved seeing Austin's Army shirts all over the building.

Happy Birthday Summer!

For Summer's 8th Birthday she wanted to have a bowling party.  It was such an easy and fun party.  She invited some girls from her class and her besties from the street.  Isaac was able to come with Nanny and Poppy-which made her birthday even better.

 

 

 

And this girl did awesome in the Wildcat Olympics placing 2nd in her grade level with 12 laps around the track a total of 3 miles!

But she was in for a surprise when they drew the raffle prizes because they picked her name for Principal for the day.  She couldn't believe it and it made me laugh and cry to see how excited she was.  She was able to be the Principal for one whole day and they even bought her lunch.  She loved every minute of it and that she got to go into every teacher's classroom. 

 

Summer you are going to do amazing things!

Mardi Gras 2015

We had the best time last weekend in New Orleans celebrating Mardi Gras.  The kids loved staying with Nanny and Poppy and getting to spend time with their cousins.  Already looking forward to next year!

Christmas 2014

How is it already over?  Hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas.  We sure did! Spending time with family and enjoying our two weeks off from school has been so nice.  The kids were blessed to get everything they wanted!
