Christmas Morning

Christmas was so much fun with the kids this year. Summer woke up at 3:30 and Chad wanted to have Christmas then. Well I was able to hold them off until 7. Austin loves his ball and we managed to get it in his room. I am sure he will live in there from now on. Summer loved their puppy and her bus. Hope you all have a wonderful time with your family today.

Playing Santa

Here is what Santa left for Austin and Summer. Chad was delirious after inflating the ball. Each section of the ball had its own valve. Don't worry I let him use a pump.

Getting Ready for Santa

The kids had fun getting ready for Santa's visit. We left Santa milk and cookies. We also sprinkled some food in the driveway for the reindeer.

Christmas Eve with the Blacks

We spent Christmas Eve at Nanny Black's. It was a great time and the food was wonderful! Austin and Summer enjoyed the visit with everyone and of course opening their presents.

Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Also please pray for Austin he will be having surgery on Friday to remove his tonsils and adenoids. We will try and post after the surgery. The Doctor has told us to prepare for a week stay-so it should be interesting.

Our Gingerbread House

This was a first and a last until the kids get a little older. Summer sampled all of the candy before we put it on the house. Then I realized it had to sit for fifteen minutes before you could decorate it. So as we were finishing it the roof was separating and the gum drops were falling inside the house.

I wanted to get a picture of Austin and the house-check out what he did!

Summer and daddy working hard There goes the roof
Adding more candy from her mouth
Austin wondering if he can eat the cookie
Summer and her tree
Now this is fun!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year with the Black/Muller Family. It was nice for all of us to be together. Summer fell in love with her baby Isaac and tried to take care of him all weekend. Austin just wanted to enjoy Isaac's play mat and burp rags. Chad and I are so thankful for both sides of our families. Everyone is extremely supportive and would do anything it takes for Austin. We thank God for all of you!

After this picture she just got up-thank goodness Nanny was there.
Playing with Isaac

I took this picture 6 times
Austin loved laying under the mat-I had fun getting all of our baby stuff out for Isaac. Now my kids will not let me put up the swing, boppy or this mat because they want to play with them!!!

Prayer Request

Please keep our family in your prayers today. Andrew, Selene and Baby Isaac will be flying home from Hawaii. Their flight leaves this afternoon and they arrive in New Orleans tomorrow morning. Pray that they will have a safe flight and that everything goes smoothly for them.
Thanks Ashley

Student of the week

Well Summer was picked as student of the week at day care. This is their first time to do this in their class and of course Summer had to be first. You would think being a teacher I would love doing projects like this-not so much! So I picked out what to put on it and Chad did the rest. Yea for daddy. I think he did a great job. Summer has been practicing and is able to tell us all about it. We will be doing this again next weekend because Austin is second.

Fun Visit

Today we had a great day at Nan and Pa Black's. Pa and Uncle B were there so the kids were so happy to see everyone. I won't tell you how long it has been since we have seen them. (too long) The kids loved riding around with Pa and Summer provided the entertainment for the day.
They were taking turns but Pa said they could both ride.

The Cowboy and The Little Ladybug

Well let's just say we survived Halloween.
It took three suckers and telling Summer her Uncle B would not come over if she did not put her costume on. Then Austin's leg was hurting from his flu shot so once I got him dressed he stood there and looked at me like I was crazy. We went trick or treating to a couple of houses and then came home and the kids crashed.

Summer enjoying her reward!

The only time Austin smiled all night
Waiting for Daddy to get home from work
First treats-more suckers
What do you think Austin is thinking?

Pumpkin Patch

Chad and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch yesterday. This was our third year to go to this pumpkin patch and the first year both kids were able to run around. As soon as we got out of the car Austin took off and walked down every row. Of course it is impossible to get them both to look at me for a picture.
Please just look at mommy one time

One more try
