Summer's Exciting News

We found out on Monday what we are and having. This is a video of how we shared the news with Austin and Summer. The background noise is Austin yelling as loud as he can because he wants to go outside.
The clip would not upload so I had to use my other camera to record it while watching it on the monitor:)

And a picture to prove it.

The due date is still on or around May 29th. He weighs 9 oz. and everything looks great. He never let us get a picture of his face because he was on his tummy face down.

His name will be Luke Allen Black.
We are so excited!

Christmas with the Cousins

It was a nice ending to a great day. We went to Uncle Wes and Aunt Jenn's for Christmas this year. Austin and Summer were blessed with new toys and lots of winter clothes. This year Austin figured out how to open his presents and would make Pa-Paw take them out of the box so he could play with them. Summer loved playing with the girls and of course their dog Kelly. We are so thankful for our families and all they provide for us and our little ones.

Christmas Morning

Rise and Shine 6AM Christmas morning. Summer asked Santa for a Barbie, a baby and a blue jacket. Closer to Christmas she started asking for a kitchen. Austin asked for anything he could chew on or use in the bath. After we opened presents Summer played in her room for over an hour. Which is a first for her. And Austin took an hour long bath. That is why I was able to blog. This afternoon we will celebrate Christmas with Grandma and Pa-paw and the gang.

Waiting for Santa

This year we let Summer take care of leaving food out for the reindeer and Santa. We kept telling her as soon as you fall asleep Santa will come so she waited until 11:00 to go to bed. She was excited to see that Santa ate the cookies.

Christmas Eve with The Blacks

We celebrated Christmas last night at Nanny and Pa Black's. We enjoyed turkey and tons of sides and desserts. The great-grand kids enjoyed opening presents and playing together. It was a nice evening with family.

We tried!
They all loved Jayce's new present.
Even Austin loved the present-funny thing is this exact toy has been in Summer's room for over a year and they never play with so I put it in the attic on Wednesday.

Angelman Christmas

This was our first year to attend the Angelman Christmas party. We had a fun, exciting and very busy time! Austin loved seeing Santa and the presents he brought. Summer kept telling me she was not going to cry when she saw Santa but she did.
It was nice to visit with other parents who have been there or are going through the same things we are. Thanks mom for going and helping with both Summer and Austin.

An Early Christmas

For Christmas we wanted to get the kids a trampoline. After looking online the one we wanted went on sale. It was too good to pass up! So I ordered it on Thursday and got free shipping as well as $20 off. It arrived on Friday afternoon. Can you believe? Well Summer just happened to be home with Chad when the FedEx guy delivered it. When I got home from work this is what I saw in the backyard.

They both have lived in it all day today. Summer was out there before 8AM. I am glad they like it and will continue to remind Summer and Chad this is their Christmas present!

And I finally got a picture of Chad and his birthday present!

Happy Birthday Chad!

Yesterday was Chad's Birthday and we were able to celebrate with his family.
This year the kids and I got him a Texas Longhorns rocking chair.
(will post pics later)
His brothers got him a great present which was a chocolate cake in the face.
Sorry I missed that one-but I know there are pics and a video out there.
Babe, I just want to say Happy Birthday and thank you for all that you do. You are an great dad and husband. I am so happy that God led me to you. Austin and Summer love you very much too!
And now some pics of the birthday boy thirty six years ago!

Trick or Treating

This year the Black/Muller Families all got together for Halloween. We spent the day hanging out and then went trick or treating. Summer had tons of fun. She carried Austin's bag for him and made sure he got candy too. She also would get a piece for Isaac and put it in his car. Austin walked almost the whole time and loved trying to open people's front doors. Isaac enjoyed riding in his car and going fast down the driveways. It was neat to see the kids play together especially now that Isaac is walking. Isaac and Summer stayed up played way past their bed times.

Trick or Treat at the Creek

Austin's school had a trick or treat night last Saturday. Grandma and Aunt Rosemary joined us for the fun. The school was decorated for Halloween and you could trick or treat on each hallway. Outside there was a pumpkin patch and you can build a scarecrow. Austin entered the costume contest but our Buzz Light Year PJ's did not win.

Pumpkin Patch

We barely made our trip to the pumpkin patch this year. I can't believe October is almost over. The kids had fun being outside and looking at all of the pumpkins. Like always a picture of both of them looking is impossible. Austin was running all over the place and loved the scarecrows. We picked out a pumpkin for the yard and they each got their own little pumpkin.
At least they sat down!
