Christmas 2013

We started our Christmas celebrating the first week in December.  We all met up at the lake with Nanny and Poppy and the gang!  It was super cold but we had a good time.  It was fun to all be together opening presents. Christmas Eve we were with Nan and Pa Black. We always have such a good time playing games and eating way too much food.  We woke up early on Christmas morning and let Summer and Luke have Christmas before Austin woke up. They enjoyed opening their own presents and getting to play with them before crazy man got up to destroy it all. Then we let Austin get up and see what Santa brought him.  After that we went to Grandma and Paw-Paw's for more fun with all the cousins.  The kids didn't ask for anything this year from Santa so Summer is still trying to figure out how he knew to get her things she would like. Happy Halloween 2013

This year I let the kids pick out their costumes. Austin was a mummy, Summer was a peacock and Luke was Diego.  Austin did not like his costume and decided to tear it off 30 seconds after putting it on. It was awesome when he was only in a diaper in the garage when all the trick or treaters showed up.  We went around the block and got a ton of candy.

Today is Chad's birthday!  He is _ _!    Chad we love you so much and thank God everyday for you.

We celebrated last night since trick or treating always takes up his birthday.  And this weekend we are going out of town.  Grandma and Paw-Paw will be holding down the fort! 

Of course Austin smashed the whole right side of the cake before Chad blew out his candles.

Man I have been so bad updating here. School is going great! Summer is doing outstanding in all subjects and has been keeping us busy with her homework and horseback riding.  Austin is loving school and has to be pulled off the bus everyday because he loves his bus aide so much.  (she has to hide so he can get on and off the bus)  Luke is a mess! Still loving golf and visiting Pa's house twice a week. There is never a calm moment around here but we love it that way.  Oh and Rudy is still here and in need of serious training. Any Takers???   In September Chad and I did the Texans 5K run and I survived.  :)  We have spent our weekends watching football even though it has been an interesting season.   

 

 

Back 2 School

I can't believe summer came and went that fast and I also can't believe we now have a 1st and 3rd grader.  It has been a great first week of school.  The kids are in their school routine and all is well again.  Austin has the same teacher this year and had a super fun week. Summer loves her teacher and loves having her two best friends in her class.  Here are some pics we took at meet the teacher and the first day.
