Are you ready for some football?

Austin and Chad got all dressed up for the Longhorn game on Saturday. Austin did not enjoy wearing a hat but we tried to keep it on him. He stayed in the garage and watched the game with the boys. He loves sports nights. And yes they dressed up for Thursday game also Go Pittsburgh!

New Froggy

Austin was so happy this week because Nanny found him some new babies. He loves his frog and sleeps with it every night. Most of the time it is in his mouth so if you can imagine the smell. (YES I have tried washing it) So dad and I were happy to get new ones as well. Here is a picture so you can see what I am talking about.


The other pictures are of Austin getting into things which he does so well. His mouth is blue/black because he ate one of my student's worksheets that was colored with marker.

Lake House

We went to Lake Travis this weekend for one last vacation now that school has started. Austin loved the water and would have stayed in it all day long. One of his favorite things was eating his dessert this time he ate the whole Oreo as you can see he was a BIG mess. Isn't that what vacation is all about having fun! I would have never let him get like this at home. Austin enjoyed spending time with Uncle B and Aunt Jody. Thanks guys for a great weekend.

Nap Time

Austin loves to snuggle up at night with us. I took pictures of Chad and him the other night and discovered Chad had done the same of Austin and me.

So long Libby

Well Libby made it with us for a whole month! Thank goodness Papa found a new home for her. This was the day she left Austin was telling her goodbye.

Play Time

Last Friday we had the chance to go to the Children's Museum with Collin and Mitchell. Austin had a blast and loved climbing on all of the toys. Of course he found something in every area to stick in his mouth. He made me laugh the whole day and it was great to spend time with not only friends but adults. I wish we all lived closer so the boys could play more often.

A Boy And His Dog!

Well as you can see Austin and Libby are getting along. This was Austin's first time to try dog food oops. I don't think he will do that again. We are keeping her in the laundry room because she was driving us CRAZY now Austin tries to rescue her all day long. How long does this puppy stage last again? Yikes that is what I thought. HAHAHA

Fun In The Sun!

Today we went swimming in Wes and Jenn's new pool. It is an amazing pool and we had a great time. Austin loved every minute of it. Aunt Jenn took him down the slide-even Grandma went down the slide! She will die when she sees this picture. Look how much fun he had on the island just seconds after I took that picture he fell into the water-don't worry there were many hands there to save him. It was so nice to spend time with my family. Thank you all for loving Austin so much!

Austin's New Puppy

We finally got a dog yesterday. She is a chocolate lab and we named her Liberty(Libby). Austin has enjoyed playing with her and pulling her fur, ears and tail. Here are some pictures of their first meeting!

The New Thing!

This is a floor pillow I recently bought that Austin has taken over. He loves sleeping and playing on it! Yesterday he watched his first episode of Barney while sitting on the pillow. He has mastered crawling and can get wherever he wants fast! Last week in therapy he blew them away and completed all the tasks that he did not pass in March-Yeah!

Oreo!

Austin had his first Oreo and loved it! It was so funny because it got stuck in his hair and he could not find it. I am not sure what that is in his mouth with the Oreo-maybe turkey?

Father's Day Project

For Father's Day I wanted Austin to make a shirt for Chad-Really that is all I have to say because by the pictures you can see how well that went! One thing Austin hates doing is opening his hands so it was not as easy as I thought it would be. Check out the final product. Yes I promise those are hands!

Selene and Andrew's Big Day!

This past weekend Chad's brother Andrew got married. Austin was in the wedding and had a blast wearing a tux. He laughed as soon as we put it on him. Poppy and Nanny walked him down the aisle and of course Austin pulled the flower of Clayton's tux. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a lot of fun! We are so happy for you both and I am glad to have my first sister in law. Thank you for including Austin in your special day.

Austin's First Walk-A-Thon

Let me first start by saying thank you so much for all your donations. Our final total was $5,287! We had a great time and met a lot of new friends. Mom and Aunt Rosemary cheered while Chad, Nanny, Poppy, Michelle, Lauren, Austin and I walked. The little girl in the picture is Ashley. Isn't God great he put a family at the end of the walk that we were able to meet and talk with. Their daughter is ten months old and was diagnosed the same time as Austin.

Last night I prayed for one family that we would be given the opportunity to meet and this was them. Once again thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We love each and everyone of you.
