Christmas Day 2010

Christmas was so much fun this year.  Summer woke up super early and just wanted to peak and see if  Santa came.  I was able to hold her off for a little while until the boys woke up.  All three kids loved their stocking stuff and toys from Santa!

This year we had my family over for Christmas.  It was so nice for Austin to stay in his comfort zone.  We had a great lunch and exchanged presents.

We hope you and your family had a merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2010

We spent Christmas Eve with Nanny and Pa Black.
Nan cooked a wonderful meal and they both spoiled us with gifts.
We had a great time and loved watching the kids play together.

Christmas With Nanny and Poppy

We went to New Orleans for Christmas this year and had a wonderful time.  The kids did great for the drive there and back.  We were able to spend time with Uncle A, Aunt Nini and Isaac.  This was Summer and Luke's first time to visit and as of this morning Summer is going to live with Nanny and Poppy.  (she said she would visit us on the weekends)  We took almost two hundred pictures so here are a few.

Nanny and Poppy's backyard is beautiful and we took some great pictures.

On Sunday we had brunch and opened presents.  Austin was a pro and opened his and Luke's presents.

On Monday night we went to Fulton Street which was decorated and had fake snow.  The kids loved it-Austin found a live band and danced the night away.

I am so happy we made the trip and for all the memories!

Merry Christmas From.....

Happy Half Birthday Luke!

Can you believe this boy is six months old?
He went to the doctor today.
Here are his stats-
Weight-17.8 (42%)
Height-2'3.25 (78%)
He is now crawling (getting into everything). And starting to pull up.
He is eating solids and has enjoyed everything except peas

He absolutely loves playing with Austin and Summer.  Last week I found all three in Summer's room playing with an empty drawer.

So Much To Be Thanksful For!

We are so thankful for these three blessings!!

This year we stayed home and cooked our very first Thanksgiving meal.  Pa and Uncle B came over to celebrate.  Summer was so excited she got up a 4AM and went strong the whole day.
We are truly thankful for the greatest family and friends.

And this is what happens at the Black house when you fall asleep after dinner.
Love you Pa!

Slow Down Luke!

This boy has taken off.  On Thursday he was playing on his tummy and the next minute he was sitting up!
He is trying hard to crawl so I know it will be soon.
 Way to go Luke!!!!!!

Halloween Fun

Trick or Treating was a fun adventure for the Black family this year.
Pa and Uncle B joined us for the fun.  Austin was a surgeon, Summer was Tinkerbell and Luke was Chewbacca.
Summer was ready to go as soon as she woke up from her nap. She loved every minute of it especially eating 7 pieces of candy before she went to bed.  Austin loved Uncle B pulling him the wagon And Luke was happy with me holding him the whole time.
Summer is already planning for next year.

Pa got a new chair and Austin really misses the old one because he does not have a place to sit.
He kept climbing in his lap all night.
