Austin's Army is Awesome

We raised almost $1500 this year and had a great turn out. We are so thankful for everyone that came out to walk and who made a donation to the foundation. Austin loved having such a big Army this year. I am waiting on the group picture (hint hint mom) but wanted to share some pictures and a video of the day with all of you.

Special Olympics 2010

Today was Challenge Day in Tomball. This was Austin's second year to participate. He had fun and we enjoyed watching what he had learned. The activities were different this year. His favorite was the parachute. Summer even got involved and gave Austin his medal in the awards ceremony. I posted a couple of video clips at the bottom. (they are loud)

Disney on Ice

Last Saturday we took Summer to see Disney on Ice. She loved every minute of it. She was so excited to see Mickey Mouse and the whole gang. About five minutes into the show she leans over and tells me that's funny mommy their talking but their mouths aren't moving. She is too funny!

Austin's Field Trip

A couple of weeks ago Austin's class went on a field trip to Old MacDonald's Farm. We all went and had a great time. Austin loved being outside and Summer loved the animals. She would point and laugh at all the different tails-at first I thought she was pointing at their butts. We rode the train and had a picnic with Austin's class.

Easter Celebration

We had such a nice Easter this year. We started off by going to church with Grandma and Paw-Paw. Thanks to Paw-Paw who entertained Austin and Summer the whole time!

Then we went to their house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.

Happy Happy Birthday!

We had our family over last weekend to celebrate Austin and Summer's birthday. Summer was excited to have her cousins over to play. Of course the theme was Mickey Mouse which is Summer's favorite cartoon at the moment. Austin likes it too but does not have much time these days to stop and watch TV. Thanks everyone for coming to celebrate our babies turning 3 and 5. Lots of pictures below!!

Guess What Time It Is?

It's time for Austin's Army to get together!

Can you believe this will be our fifth year to walk? From your donations we have been able to give the foundation almost $10,000! Our first year we had 9 team members and last year we had 50. We hope you will be there to support our boy.

Crazy Hair Day

Summer had crazy hair day at daycare. This is all I could come up with. She really liked her hair and was excited to show all of her friends.

Austin's Insect

This was a funny and proud moment the other night during bath time. This was Austin's first time to see a bug. OK well he has probably seen one but never reacted this way. We are constantly saying -Austin look at the bug, bird, plane, police car. Finally he looked!

Oh and the clip is very loud so turn your volume down.
