Our sweet Rudy passed away last week. We found out three weeks ago that he had lymphoma. They gave him three weeks to four months to live. Unfortunately he went to heaven last Thursday. Our hearts hurt so bad and each kid has processed it in a different way. Many tears were shed and we so wish Austin could understand why his best friend is no longer here with him. Rudy was a mess but he knew how to treat each kid the way they needed to be treated. Austin was his pal they got into so much trouble together and took a bath together every night. Rudy was Austin's clean up crew after every meal. Summer and Rudy were so loving to each other. When he wanted to cuddle he found Summer. Luke and Rudy made a great match. They would play, wrestle, chase each other and explore. Whatever Luke wanted to do Rudy was right there with him. It broke our hearts when Luke cried out he's my best friend-my only friend! Uncle B picked out the best dog for our kids and we are truly thankful for that. Rudy stuck by Chad's side he knew who his master was. And with me only after dark we were friends. He loved sleeping in my spot every night.
We will miss you Rudy!
