Austin is moving so fast these days it only takes a second for him to get into something. These are the results of not keeping my eye on him. He has also learned how to pull up on flat surfaces which is awesome until you spend an extra five minutes in the shower trying to get him to sit down so he doesn't fall as you open the door.
Ok this was our last Christmas for this year. Chad's parents came in on Friday so we celebrated with them. Austin loved getting into the presents before we opened them. It was so exciting for Austin he decided to stay up until midnight. Boy were Nanny and mommy tired!
This year I asked for clothes for Austin and here is what he received 11 shirts 6 pairs of pants 6 pairs of shorts 1 jacket 2 pairs of PJ'S He now has a whole new wardrobe! We went to my mom and dad's today-It was nice to spend time with everyone and watch the kids open their presents. They are all so well behaved it shows what good parents my and sisters/brother-in-laws are.
Once again our family has blessed us. Love you all
We spent Christmas Eve at Nanny Black's. As you can see they got him a roller coaster. He loves it and could stay on it for hours. Good thing the battery lasts that long. Now it is in the middle of our living room! When he woke up this morning it was the first thing he wanted to do. I will post more pictures after we have Christmas with Grandma/Papa and Nanny/Poppy.
I wanted to take Austin's pictures myself for Christmas cards. As you can see that is not going to happen this year. He gets so excited when he sees the camera and of course he won't sit still.
For about two weeks now Austin has decided he is going to feed himself. The only problem is that he misses his mouth most of the time. That is why he is eating dinner in a diaper. Look at him trying to get those toys down-no matter what is up there it has to come down.
I took Austin to a pumpkin patch on Saturday and he had a blast. He found a little pumpkin and held on to it until we left. He kept trying to eat it! Every time a person would walk by he would yell becasue he was so excited or maybe he was protecting his pumpkin.
My cousin took these pictures at the reunion and I had to share them. Thank you Julie! We had a great time of course Austin had a melt down before and during the family picture. I think he was crying because his Aunt Jenn, Uncle Wes and Aunt Michelle were not there! ( love you guys) He loved the great-grandkid picture because he got to sit in the grass.
