We took a trip to Sea World on Friday. We left around 6:30 and were there when it opened. Summer had been talking about seeing Shamu all week. Grandma was able to go with us which was great to have another set of hands. Austin of course loved the water park and by the end of the day was swimming in the lazy river all by himself so our next purchase for him is a life jacket. It was the coolest things to see and we were so proud of him. Summer loved seeing all the shows I think the ski one was her favorite so she is going to love the lake house. We stayed until five and then went and stayed at Nana's house. On Saturday we went and visited Nana in the nursing home where she is recovering from her hip surgery and then headed out to the country. This was Chad's first time to Nana's and I have a feeling we will be back soon.
Having a blast with daddy
By the way Sea World is the most accommodating place for special needs. We were able to take the stroller we rented into all the shows and sit in our own area. Another great thing they offer is Austin and 1 adult got into the park for half off. Awesome!

Looks like you guys had fun, we loved Sea World!!! It is a great place for kids.
I so enjoy looking at the blog and keeping up with the "Black" family.
Love, Aunt Rosemary
We absolutely love Sea World and can't say enough good stuff about it, so I'm glad you guys had a good experience and to hear about how accomadating to special needs they were- even more reason to love it!
We were actually out of town on our way to St. Louis that day, so I wouldn't have been able to come see you guys anyway, but if you ever come back, I would love to join you guys.
And, definitely let me know next time you go to Nana's or the land- Dwaine would be happy to help Chad work out there.
As a matter of fact, Dwaine has had "build deer stands in Stockdale" on his to do list for awhile.
Love you guys! Love the pics!
I have been checking in on your blog every once in a while through Julie D's blog and have enjoyed "seeing" your kids grow. I remember when I watched Austin walk for the first time on the video you posted.
I had to comment today because I had not checked in for many many months and can't believe how far he has come.
I couldn't believe when I read about him swimming all over the lazy river on his own! That's incredible!
You must be so proud.
Take care!
